How quests work

Quests are given by townsfolk: whoever has one shows a “!”. A taken quest is in the journal (J) and on the panel on the right; a click on its title tracks it, and an arrow appears at the hero towards the nearest goal. Once all is done the arrow is green and leads to whoever takes the work.

Elders

Every land has an elder with two quests: the first pays potions of its step, the second an elixir.

Bounties

The heralds of the towns hand out bounties: “slay N of these”. A bounty is drawn at random from the list of its land, can be repeated without end and pays gold, experience and potions. Creatures of higher tiers count towards a bounty on their kin: an “Elder wolf” is a wolf too.
