World map
The world is twelve lands. Each side has its own road of three lands; both roads meet in Dreadhollow, where the capitals of the Alliance and the Horde stand, and the capitals open onto four maps of war and the arena. A portal – a ring of stones with a whirl – leads on to the next land; it lets through heroes of the right level.
